To reach the Nagaoka Festival venue by train, take the Joetsu Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Nagaoka Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Nagaoka Station, the festival venue is about a 20-minute walk from the station.
By Bus
From Nagaoka Station, you can also take a local bus to the festival venue. The bus departs from the Nagaoka Station Bus Terminal. Look for the bus heading to “Ote Bridge (大手大橋)” and get off at the “Nagaoka Ote Bridge Bus Stop (長岡大手大橋バス停).” The ride takes about 10 minutes.
By Car
If you prefer to drive, the Nagaoka Festival venue can be accessed via the Kan-Etsu Expressway. Take the Nagaoka Interchange exit, and from there, it’s about a 15-minute drive to the venue. Please note that parking is limited, so arriving early is recommended.
From Niigata City
If you are traveling from Niigata City, take the Shinetsu Main Line from Niigata Station to Nagaoka Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. From Nagaoka Station, you can either walk or take a local bus to the festival venue as described above.
